To celebrate the completion of their debut album 'Man's Name Is Legion' Safetyword have hired out The Cube Cinema (Bristol) to play the album live. there's great support from Mike Seed (who did a OLO podcast the other day) & Freeze Puppy. to top the bill off..and over the edge..OLO Radio DJs shall be present pressing the GO & EJECT buttons. the album will be on sale on the night..i can't wait to hear it! a masterpeice i'm sure. poster made by Norbo.

During the late nineties, just before the dawn of the new millenium, an Austrian short film director called Petra Hoffman made a series of cutting edge video journals. Through a contact working on a car bootsale stall that sold starwars figures (in their boxes) Petra approached James Nation and me with a view to give us starring roles in the pieces. After seeing the scripts James and I decided that we would appear in the shorts for 400dm each which we would have donated to the 'just two more scoops' charity in vienna. Sadly the masterpieces never made it to air after a lack of equity membership on our part forced Petra to re shoot using 2 unknown girls from the former yugoslavia. Years of doodles..
Yesterday i had 2 hours to come up with some lyrics for our xmas song. i spread out all my note books. the pile was just too big to deal with so i used some scribbles from the other night about hob goblins and milkmen. job done.
We won't be posting any new music clips until we actually make anything worth sharing. for now..if u can handle it?..you can watch clips of Seaweed and Boonbeans (the talentless one's) making pigeon coo's, drumming with fire, and kicking off (spinal tap style) over a tub of hair clay. it wont get any better than this.
All 4 of us in the same room at once? i don't believe it. this was our first musical ding-dong. we've got 4 weeks to come up with a christmas no.1 single.
Get a load of me looking like a serious news journalist! Im actually just checking my emails on the admin computer but nobody has to know that. Ill be lurking in the background most sundays at around 6.35pm on channel 3 if you want to keep an eye on things like my hairgrowth and choice of clothing.
Just got back from hanging out backstage in DAVID ESSEX'S dressing room @ The Colston Hall. i kid u not! amazing scenes..naked chicks, loopy drugs, and fish tanks. what was really interesting was seeing his rider for tonight. ha! soo funny..he had tins of baked beans, bread rolls, mr kipling cakes, and gallons of fizzy pop..there was loads of other junk i cant remember as well (i could only manage i quick scan of the place).
i'm still buzzin'!!
